| Hi, I know this is trouble, but I took my polysix to a "recommended" repair shop in December for a battery repair. When I got it back the phase/ensemble speed knob didn't work and it was also horribly stretched out of tune. I took it back and he keeps stalling me and doesn't have any answers. Does anyone know of someone in the Maryland area that can fix this? What did this guy do to my keyboard? regards, Jim |

You might have a battery leak problem, the Polysix battery sometimes leaks onto the circuit board, which results in all sorts of trouble.
Follow this link for a detailed and illustrated guide on how to properly replace the battery and repair any damages the old one caused:

| The battery was already replaced. Is there a chip nearby the battery that controls the effect speed/intensity knob? Also, the guy said my oscilator voltages were off and he adjusted them. Is it coincidence that my tuning went out after that? |
